Microsoft Unifies Anti-Malware Under Forefront Brand

Windows Connected writes "At last night’s TechEd 2006 keynote Microsoft announced that they will be rebranding its business oriented anti-malware technologies under a new unified name Microsoft “Forefront”. This new brand will encompass server and client apps including the now in beta Microsoft Client Protection which is Microsoft entry into the corporate anti-virus/anti-malware business. Also rebranded under the Forefront name will be the Microsoft Antigen products covering SharePoint, Exchange, and Instant Messaging.
