SharePoint 2007: RSSViewer Web Part - Beta1TR

One of the new web parts Windows SharePoint Services version 3.0 is shipped with is the RSSViewer web part. This web part provides a push mechanism that will forward information to end users. It is very easy to configure this web part by providing the RSS feed url in the taskpane, like you can see below.
You can choose how many items you want to show at first glance. You can also choose if you want to expand the feed by default. You will probably never want to expand the feed by default because this will take too many space on your web page. We've added our SharePoint RSS blog to the RSSViewer web part and you can see the result in the next image. The last image will show you what the web part looks like when you have clicked on a news item.
