What is WVHA?
WVHA is a network-wide agentless software tool designed to help customers and partners quickly assess their existing PCs' readiness for Windows Vista migration. It provides hardware and device compatibility analysis for Windows Vista and offers detailed reporting with actionable upgrade recommendations for each PC on the network.
Target Audience
The Windows Vista Hardware Assessment currently targets the Midmarket, Corporate Accounts and Lower Enterprise market segments ( Ideally businesses with less than 5,000 PCs and no sophisticated management software such as Systems Management Server 2003).
This tool also enables our Partners to increase sales opportunities using this Pre-Sales assessment tool for Windows Vista migration projects. Using this tool, for example, a Microsoft Partner can offer a quick hardware assessment for a new customer as a way to drive business conversations about desktop deployment.
